Now that the office-related parts of LG3 ‘The visual environment for display screen use’ has been incorporated into the new LG7’, LG3 can be rewritten to change its focus to industrial and commercial premises where there are still distinct problems with low resolution display screens and poor ergonomic conditions.
It is possible that a new version of LG3 will be produced during 2005 to cover these issues. It would be a slimmed down guide compared to the present guide and will incorporate the existing 2001 amendments and other updates that have been incorporated in LG7 where relevant.
